About The Net+ Virtual Card

What it is

The Net+ Virtual Prepaid MasterCard is an innovative new way to pay for online purchases using uniquely-generated, single-use card numbers that let you pay with the funds available in your NETELLER eWallet.

We designed the Net+ virtual card to be the most secure way to pay online. Each purchase you make with your virtual card uses a brand-new, one-time use MasterCard® number that can never be used again by you or anyone else.

Unlike the Net+ Prepaid MasterCard, which looks, acts and functions like a traditional debit or credit card, the Net+ virtual card is an online-only option that you access via your desktop or from within your NETELLER eWallet.

How to get it

Getting a Net+ virtual card is free and easy.

Sign up for an eWallet

Before you can get a Net+ card, you first need to sign up for a free NETELLER eWallet. The NETELLER eWallet is a secure payment account you can use to make purchases and payments on thousands of sites.

Get your Net+ virtual card

Once you have the eWallet, simply sign in to your account and select “Net+ cards” from the navigation on the left to set up your Net+ virtual card. You have two options for doing so.

Set up from eWallet

You can instantly set up the web version of the Net+ virtual card in 3 simple steps.

1. Select “Set up Net+ virtual card” from the Net+ cards tab
2. Accept the terms and conditions
3. Verify and confirm your personal information

Once you complete the last step, you can launch the web version from within your eWallet or download the NETELLER app for added features.

Download the NETELLER app

By downloading the NETELLER app, you can access your Net+ virtual card directly from your Windows desktop.

1. Select “Download NETELLER app with virtual card” from the Net+ cards tab
2. Accept the terms and conditions
3. Verify and confirm your personal information
4. Click “Download now” to access your Net+ Virtual Prepaid MasterCard via the NETELLER app

Once the NETELLER app is installed, you’ll be able to use your Net+ virtual card to make secure purchases on cashier pages without signing in to your NETELLER account.

How to use it

Everybody knows how to use a debit or credit card, but the virtual card is a little different. There are two ways you can use your Net+ virtual card:

Buy online with web version

1. Sign in to your NETELLER account
2. Click on “Net+ cards” and Select the “Net+ virtual card” tab
3. Click on “Launch web version”
4. The Net+ virtual card will be displayed in a new window or browser tab; click on the green arrow to generate your one-time use card number
5. Enter the card details into the cashier page just like you would with a credit card

Buy online with the NETELLER app

1. Open the NETELLER app on your desktop if it isn’t already open
2. Sign in to the NETELLER app using your app credentials (not your NETELLER eWallet credentials)
3. Click on the Net+ button to open your Net+ virtual card
4. Click on the grey “+” button to generate your one-time-use card number
5. Enter the card details into the cashier page just like you would with a credit card

Please note: while your Net+ virtual card is ideal for making many online purchases, it will not work for situations where you will be required to show a physical card at a later date, such as picking up an airplane ticket, renting a car or booking a hotel room. For these types of purchases, you’ll want to use a plastic Net+ prepaid card.

All FX charges/fees will be charged in the currency of your NETELLER account and drawn directly from your NETELLER account.

Foreign exchange (FX) fees charged on the Net+ virtual card

1. In order to apply for the Net+ Virtual Prepaid MasterCard, your NETELLER account must be held in one of these currencies: EUR, GBP, USD, CAD, SEK, DKK, AUD, or JPY. Your Net+ Virtual Prepaid MasterCard will always be held in the same currency as your NETELLER account. To save money on FX fees, we recommend holding your NETELLER account in the same currency that you will use most frequently when shopping online.
2. If you perform a Net+ transaction in a currency different from your Net+ virtual card, you will be charged the Net+ FX fee of 2.95%.
