What is a Mobile Wallet?

Adding your prepaid card to a mobile wallet is available only in specific countries part of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK.

A mobile wallet is a form of technology that allows you to store a digital version of your card across various smart devices such as your phone or smartwatch. You can add your Net+ card in: Google Pay  or Apple Pay®

How does it work?

Upon enrollment, your sensitive information such as the 16-digit card number is converted to a unique digital account number, also known as a token. The digital token is then securely stored on your mobile device and used for in-store and online purchases instead of exposing your actual card details to merchants.

What are the benefits of using a mobile wallet?

Adding your card to a mobile wallet is completely free of charge. Mobile payments are widely accepted, and you can add multiple cards to your payment app. They are a fast and convenient way to pay with a single tap of your smart device on the payment terminal or online.

Are mobile wallet payments secure?

Because a unique digital token is used, and your actual card number is never exposed to merchants, mobile wallets are a secure way to pay. They also eliminate the need of carrying your physical card or cash with you, making them less likely to be stolen.
