As we announced in the official gazette dated February 25, 2020, we abolished our Funds Transfer Business on April 21, 2020.
In the above official gazette, we informed customers who used our NETELLER services that they would be able to apply for a refund of their money (i.e., the remaining balance in their NETELLER account) through May 29, 2020. We also notified customers whose addresses are known to us of this by sending them an individual notice. However, we could not issue a refund to customers who did not apply for a refund in accordance with the notice in the Official Gazette or the individual notice.
Therefore, if you have not made such an application as of May 30, 2020, please call the “Contact” number below no later than June 29, 2020 to request a refund of the balance in your NETELLER account.
The refund will be made by bank transfer to the bank account you notify us of.
In the event that you do not request a refund of the balance in your NETELLER account by June 29, 2020, we will deposit the balance with the Tokyo Legal Affairs Bureau at a time that we deem appropriate. After June 29, 2020 please make an inquiry to the Tokyo Legal Affairs Bureau about the process for the refund of the deposit.
We hereby issue a public notice pursuant to the provisions of Article 47, item (iii) of the Payment Services Act, Article 17, Paragraph (2), item (ii) of the Order for Enforcement of the Payment Services Act, and Article 23 of the Cabinet Office Ordinance on Funds Transfer Service Providers.
