Can I get a refund for a purchase with my Net+ Prepaid Mastercard®?
This article specifically applies for the Net+ Prepaid Mastercard® offered in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK. For inquiries regarding the Net+ Virtual Mastercard® offered in Brazil, please refer to the appropriate section.
If you have a purchase for which you want to get a refund, please contact the merchant directly, and request a refund. Depending on their Terms of Use, you may get your purchase partially or fully reimbursed, or they may attempt to correct your order.
If you paid for goods, but the shipment hasn’t arrived, check the expected delivery date, and purchase conditions prior to requesting a refund from the merchant.
For recurring payments related to online subscriptions (i.e., transactions set to recur automatically on a weekly, monthly, yearly, etc. basis), contact the merchant directly and check how you can cancel your subscription with them.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
Your balance will be updated after we receive the refunded funds within our system. To obtain an approximate refund timeframe, contact the merchant. A pending credit transaction may be created in your NETELLER account informing you of an upcoming refund.
Can I get a refund if my card is locked, suspended, or canceled?
Yes. You can receive a card refund regardless of your account or card status. Your NETELLER primary account balance will be updated accordingly upon a refund receipt.
I tried to contact the merchant, but they are unwilling to refund me.
If you tried to request a refund, but the merchant is not cooperative, please contact us. Keep in mind, that any pending transactions must be completed before we can initiate a dispute.
