Can I cancel a pending transaction made with my Net+ Prepaid Mastercard®?

Once you make a Net+ Card payment, the transaction may remain pending between 7-30 calendar days, depending on the payment type. If there was an error with your transaction or the payment failed on the merchant`s site, you can speed up the release of your funds by contacting the merchant with a request for them to revert your transaction.

On rare occasions, we may assist you with canceling a pending transaction manually. To proceed obtain an official written confirmation from the merchant, stating they will not be claiming the funds.

The merchant must state their merchant code, your card holder's name and last four digits of your card, the authorization code for the payment in question, and details of the payment (date, amount, currency)  Documents not containing the full details listed above cannot be accepted.

Transaction pre-authorization

Some merchants (such as gas stations, merchants where tipping is a common practice, or vendors who collect a deposit in advance) may preauthorize an amount greater than the final transaction amount. Such preauthorization will place a hold on a portion of your available balance until the merchant provides us with the final payment amount of your purchase. Bear in mind that, although such authorisations are settled on the next working day, it can take up to 7 business days on rare occasions. During this period, you would not be able to use the preauthorized amount.

When using the Net+ Prepaid Mastercard® at a gas station, it is recommended that you pay inside. By paying inside you will avoid having an additional portion of your balance being unavailable due to preauthorization for a certain period.
