Why won't NETELLER let me sign up?

If you come across any difficulties upon registration, this may be due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • You’re too young. You must be 18 or older to use our services.
  • You entered inaccurate data (e.g., names, address, date of birth). Make sure that the information you provide is valid and up to date. When necessary, you can update your personal details via section Settings > Personal details or by contacting the NETELLER Help Team.
  • You’re using VPN, a proxy server or another connection type that prevents us from verifying your identity. To complete your registration, please disable any IP masking services, connect to the internet using a fixed IP from your ISP or your mobile network, and try again. Avoid using open public connections. 
  • You’re trying to sign up for a business account. Don’t use any business or commerce related words in your names or email address. If you wish to use NETELLER for commercial purposes, sign up from here.
  • You already have an account with NETELLER. As a regular customer, you’re entitled to only one personal account with us. Only a VIP user level will allow you to have multiple accounts.
  • You’re trying to register from a non-supported country. If you don’t see your country in the drop-down list upon signup, this means we don’t offer our services there. Check out the list of non-serviced countries here.

We aim to guide you through the registration process and will usually display a detailed error message if there's an issue. Here are some of the messages you might encounter.

Our records indicate you already have an account. To access it or reset your password, go to Login. Contact us if this is not the case.

We have reason to believe you already have an account. If that’s the case, go to Login and use your active account.

  • Your account is closed? – Contact us for assistance.
  • You don’t recall your email and password? – Contact us for assistance.
  • You don’t have an account? – Make sure you register your full names as they appear on your official ID document and if you keep getting the same message, contact us for assistance.

Our records indicate you already have an account. Contact us if this is not the case.

If your account has been closed by us, you won’t be able to create a new one. If you’ve never had an account and believe this is a mistake, please contact us.

You can't create a new NETELLER account due to security reasons based on automated checks.

Unfortunately, your registration is declined, and you won’t be allowed to register with NETELLER.

Registration must be completed using app. Due to security reasons you have to finish your registration using our app.

A QR code will be displayed, prompting you to download the NETELLER mobile app. Scan the code, download the app to your phone and restart your registration via the app.

You can only register using the country you're currently in.

Make sure you’re located where you claim to be; check if you have VPN, proxy or IP anonymization services enabled, and disable them. Then restart your registration. If travelling, wait until you’re back home to sign up with NETELLER.

Sharing credentials and operating multiple accounts is not allowed.

Ensure you're using your own IP and avoid VPN or proxy services when registering. Using these tools, or attempting to register or operate multiple accounts, may result in declined registrations due to risk checks.

Registration pending due to hidden IP. If you're using a VPN or proxy service, disable it and try again.

Turn off your VPN and try again. If you continue receiving this error, restart the registration, making sure you’re safely connected to the internet using the IP assigned to you by your ISP or mobile network provider.

This service is not available in your country or region.

NETELLER is unable to operate in certain countries and regions. If you’re in a serviced area, ensure your IP is not being masked and then restart the registration process.

Unfortunately, a technical problem has occurred. Please try again later.

Perform basic troubleshooting and try again. If the problem persists, contact the NETELLER Help Team.

Registration session has expired. No account has been created. You can restart the registration at any time.

Restart the registration and complete it within 24 hours.

Registration unavailable. You are not able to create a new NETELLER account at the moment. Please try again later.

Usually caused by temporary technical issues; retry the registration and contact us if you continue experiencing issues.

Registration could not be completed. Something went wrong on our end, please try again.

What should I do if the system won’t accept my email address?

We’ll let you know if the email address you’re trying to register with is already in use. Please continue using the account you registered with that email address, or contact us if you have issues logging in.

If you have never registered for NETELLER before, contact us to assist you further.

What should I do if the system won’t accept my phone number?

We’ll let you know if the number you’ve entered is not allowed for you to use. Please use an alternative phone number.

When you wish to use a different currency for your payments, you can simply create a secondary balance in your existing account. If, however, you want to change your primary currency, close your account and create a new one with the desired currency using a new email address.
